Hey Matt,
Thanks so much for doing the videos DVD. I'm really enjoying the way you present the content. The kinda casual loose style is really fun to listen to, it's like having a friend sitting next to you showing you the tricks that they discovered.

I've eliminated the Full Mixer View from all of my views, thinking it was a waste of real estate for my purposes, and I just wanted the big wide zoomy windows in there. In 15 minutes of watching your Full Mixer view video, I learned probably 50 very cool tricks, and will re-do my views to incorporate this again. I'm going to force myself to watch this whole DVD in order, fighting all my ADD tendencies

I know this stuff is in the manual, and in the online tutorials. It's just been hard to immerse myself in the pdf manual. But getting the hints from a bud who's just going, "Hey check this out. This could be handy to know," is really working for me, just getting dragged through every wild keyboard shortcut known to man. Now I'm actually more inclined to look for things in the manual, since there's so much "WHOA! I didn't know you could do THAT!" going on now. So it's just waking me up to possibilities. And again, I really enjoy your style. It's just light, goofy, off the cuff, and fun.

We all get used to our own way of working. And frankly, I've been in a rut and bored. Usually this is the point where I go out and buy a piece of $500 hardware that ends up being a dumb purchase, just for the gearlust rush. Instead I'm focusing on going deeper with what I've got in front of me. It's refreshing to get a new slant on things. It just reminds me that I'm only using about 20 percent of what's in SS. And I consider myself a road warrior with the app. So this was really a nice surprise, that I'd be getting so much out of it. It's almost like the SS forum in audio/video, but just the helpful hints part, and in logical order. Unless I've just missed the chapter on "Is ILOK from the Devil?"

Guys, this is a no-brainer. Just buy the DVD. And carve out time to watch one video segment each day. Oh, and get a little spiral notebook so you can make your own mini-manual of shortcuts while you're watching.

So I'm basically just gushing here and repeating myself. But I can't thank you enough for putting this together. It's just a fantastic investment. Online ordering was easy. And delivery was fast (okay, so I paid the extra for FedX- I wanted it by the weekend ).

Just believe me and buy this thing. You won't regret it. It's inexpensive and just a great investment.

By the way, Matt, the opening song is horrendous. I loved it

Cheers!
